• Account information (name, email address, school/district affiliation)
• Classroom observation data and instructional feedback (for EduEval users)
• Usage data and analytics to improve our services
• Communications between users through our platform features

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve our educational technology services
• Generate insights and analytics for school administrators
• Communicate with you about product updates and support
• Ensure security and prevent unauthorized access

How EduEval Uses AI

EduEval uses Anthropic's Claude API to draft reports. When you ask for a draft, we send Anthropic your notes, any photos of handwritten notes you uploaded, and your rubric's domain and indicator names.

• Anthropic's API terms exclude API traffic from model training. Your content is not used to train Anthropic's models.
• Under Anthropic's standard terms, inputs and outputs are kept for a limited period for abuse monitoring and then deleted. We have not signed a zero-retention arrangement with Anthropic.
• EduEval does not remove student names from your notes. Please leave them out, since anything typed into your notes is sent with the rest of the text.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls. All sensitive evaluation data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized users.

Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
